I was ecstatic when I learned that my application for accreditation as a photographer at the IAAF World Indoor Athletic Championships was approved!
What a privilege to be able to capture the action on the world stage and to learn from so many top photographers.
The days were filled with so much action there was barely time to stop for breath.
It was reassuring to hear the top agency photographers complaining about the light - "It's like a rock concert in there", our Photo Commissioner was heard to say ...
This goes some to explaining the big differences in the lighting/exposure in the images.
